Insensitivity!

Some days ago, our most senior management was to decide of our newly established organization's core values. My new CMD, an man with insight, sensitive & sensible, and a leader to stand by his words, instantly said..that our one core vaue has to be " Keeping our Promise"...i could see some frowns and some clueless faces in the room...didnt mean too much to me either but than I thought MAYBE he was right!!!

Not too long from that day...in the middle of my rocking ride through life...I am realising that truly, "Keepin up our Promises" is not as simple as it sounds...just the same way, we repeatedy keep doing the same thing after saying a "Sorry"!!!!

My very good friend did not turn up today when i needed him...i m not angry but just getting confused on the priorties that others hold today...It's letting the present go by, without realising it is precious and that we need to be more sensible to our surroundings and people...

we can spend time on the internet but not call someone and talk, have a party where people comeby only for free alcohol but not spend time with someone who is really forward to meeting us, bother about all the people who are trying to impress us without knowing it may only be a past time for them....where else someone else is passing time only to hear the phone ring to know how u r doing??

Life has changed...and change is the only constant in life..I dont like this and the way some people r around me!!

Some people actually think that 'crying' and being verbal is some peoples past time...but they fail to realsie that not everyone can do it...probably not even they themselves!!!
It's changing my complete perspective to life and affecting me in ways I could never ever think...

But than...

If you Love something...
Set it free..
If is comes back...
It is yours!
If it doesent....
It never was ....

Among Life's rocky ways...there are very few thing we need to survive...we make life complicated by wanting and greeding more....
Appreciate Life , for it has a purpose and a meaning...Appreciate the love that someone gives u, you are blessed to have....Look around and u'll find people starving for attention...

Every new beginning comes from other beginnings end...Begin somewhere!!!

I Love you...

I've always been a firm beleiver of 'communication', 'talking' and talking the heart out.

I still remember the last time I saw my Dad in front of me...He screamed at me for something and I got very upset and like a normal pampered spoilt bratt I didnt talk to him...i was ignoring him! Before we went to bed that night, he came to me and said "Sorry"! I still didnt talk and slept...not realising ...that were his last words to me...EVER!!

Next morning while i was still sleeping he left home to go to work and never returned...he suffered a heart attack and brain haemmorhage and left for the distant world....

I can never stop thinking what if i had smiled at him one last time and said "I love you Dad, Thank you for everything" or maybe just a "Good night" No one has complimented me as genuinely as he always did...of how he thought i looked best without any make up, or how he would say i look very good in whatever i wear...

Ever since than...i promised myself i will say whatever i want to...not waiting for a tomorrow! Especially tell someone if it is something good..if i think i like them, or i think they are amazing, or they look beautiful, they have done a amazing job....i will tell it!

Inspite of such conscious efforts i know how many times i just dont speak up and i know it is bad.

I take this post as a opportunity to tell all the people i know who are reading this that i am happy to have crossed paths with you and you have a special place in my heart...Thank you for being there and i hope you know that u can count on me as much i do on you!!

To all others who are reading try telling a "Thanks" or a "Sorry" or "I love you" to someone who means a lot to you...who has participated in what you are today...

Beautiful Truth

"You know the Buddhists believe that sometimes when everything is in turmoil, it's because something wonderful is ready to be born and that thing is distracting you so it can have some privacy during the birthing process."

Dreams can come True!

Dreams can come true,
Look at it Baby...u know u want it
U know u gotto have her....

Have you had a time in your life, when you felt you've had this moment earlier & you know what's gonna happen next....I have!
There are moments that I feel...I've been through this earlier and I kinda know & feel what is gonna happen next.

Dreams are a future we want to live and we need to work towards it today!

Larger than Life!

I believe there are somethings larger than life; maybe a dream, maybe a person or maybe a relationship.I am at the turning point of my life...i m evaluating myself, trying to understand & working hard to be independent.......in every aspect! God works in mysterious ways...Everytime I am in a fix I can feel the indirect ways in which He gives me cues.

Hope i can go through this phase...and handle it well!

Love Quotes!

The way to find out if you love someone or not, is by talking to them. The more you talk to them the more you either hate them or love them.

To Give up...or Not!

I Read the following lines but still...today i've decided to give up on something....though he following lines sound good!

Never Give Up On Anything

Its Madness -
To hate all roses, because you got scratched by one thorn.
To give up all your dreams, because one did not come true.
To lose faith in prayers, because one was not answered.

To give up on your efforts, because one of them failed.
To condemn all your friends, because one of them betrayed.
Not to believe in love, because someone was unfaithful.

Remember that, another chance may come up.
A new friend, A new love, A new life.

Never give up on anything!

Food for thought...

Trouble is part of your life, and if you don't share it, you don't give the person who loves you enough chance to love you enough.

~Dinah Shore

Most of us can read the writing on the wall; we just assume it's addressed to someone else.

 ~Ivern Ball

Silence is one of the hardest arguments to refute.

~Josh Billings

Thought for the day!

If you were going to die soon
..... and had only one phone call you could make,
who would you call ......
and what would you say? ......

And why are you waiting??

Expectations

Our Expectations

A turtle family went on a picnic. The turtles, being naturally slow about things, took seven years to prepare for their outings. Finally the Turtle family left home looking for a suitable place. During the second year of their journey they found it. For about six months they cleaned up the area, unpacked the picnic basket, and completed the arrangements.

Then they discovered they had forgotten the salt. A picnic without salt would be a disaster, they all agreed. After a lengthy discussion, the youngest turtle was chosen to retrieve the salt from home. Although he was the fastest of the slow moving turtles, the little turtle whined, cried, and wobbled in his shell.

He agreed to go on one condition: that no one would eat until he returned. The family consented and the little turtle left.Three years passed and the little turtle had not returned.Five years รข Six years… Then in the seventh year of his absence, the oldest turtle could no longer contain his hunger. He announced that he was going to eat and began to unwrap a sandwich. At that point the little turtle suddenly popped out from behind a tree shouting, "SEE I knew you wouldn't wait. Now I am not going to go get the salt."

Lesson Learned:
Some of us waste our time waiting for people to live up to our expectations. We are so concerned about what others are doing that we don't do anything ourselves.

Quote for the day!

"Sometimes we must be hurt in order to grow".
We must fail in order to know,
We must lose in order to gain,
Simply because...Some lessons are best learnt through pains.

If Only...

If Only....

You would Know what you mean,
You could listen to my heart,
You could hear something unsaid,
You could be around,
You could comfort me....when i needed it

I miss our times together...laughing & Talking,
Please dont hurt me....it really feelds bad!
